Industrial process heat accounts for 20% of global energy demand and 21% of global GHG emissions. High-temperature heat pumps can help address this by capturing waste heat and generating or storing energy. Our technology uses supercritical CO₂ power cycles to capture industrial waste heat, convert it into usable energy, and store it for later use—enabling sustainable resource recovery at scale.

Current alternatives to fossil fuel-based heating are limited. Direct electric heating raises operating costs, while existing heat pumps are restricted to lower temperatures. Many industrial operations rely on steam for heat and power, and replacing that infrastructure is unrealistic. A drop-in replacement for boilers provides a valuable path to electrification at industrial sites.
