Significant progress has been made to date on all permitting, regulatory and approval requirements for the successful implementation of this project. Echo Power Generation Inc. is confident that this Site has all the elements required for a very successful renewable energy project in Ontario.

Echo Power Generation Inc. has conducted on-site wind monitoring from three meteorological towers that began in June 2003. In addition, Echo Power Generation Inc. had its SODAR machine deployed at the site to increase the understanding of the wind characteristics between 50 and 120 metres, which is the actual height range that the wind turbine generator rotor experiences.

Echo Power Generation Inc. is working towards a number of 10 MegaWatt (MW) projects in this area under the Provincial Government's Standard Offer Contract.
